Special and Hearing Students

Every six months, the Program may accept the registration of special or hearing students in accordance with the provisions of the Internal Regulations of the Graduate Program in Special Education, in force (Opinion of the Graduate and Research Chamber No. 61 of 09/10/2014 ). Special Students

"ARTICLE 15 - Students regularly enrolled in other Graduate Programs (Master's or Doctorate) interested in taking courses whose content contributes to the nature of the work they carry out may attend PPGEEs courses as special students.

  • 1 - The enrollment of special students may be made in disciplines in the area of concentration and/or optional disciplines offered by PPGEEs, upon request, accompanied by a certificate of enrollment in another Graduate Program and proof of a Master's degree.
  • 2º It will not be allowed to register as a special student in compulsory subjects offered by PPGEEs.
  • 3 - The acceptance of the special student's enrollment will depend on the approval of the professor(s) who will teach the subject(s) in which he/she has enrolled".

Procedures and documents:

  1. Consult the PPGEEs page (January – for 1st Semester subjects and July – for 2nd Semester subjects) for the registration calendar and offer of subjects for the semester.
  2. Complete and sign the registration form as a special student available on the PPGEEs-UFSCar page;
  3. Attach a certificate of enrollment as a regular student of the Graduate Program of origin and proof of a Master's degree;
  4. Attach a copy of the Lattes curriculum from the Lattes CNPq Platform;
  5. Send the application and the documentation corresponding to the Graduate Program in Special Education at the opening hours published on the PPGEEs page or send it by mail to:

Hearing Students

They are those that meet the requirements specified in Article 16 of the PPGEEs Internal Regulations.

"ARTICLE 16 - Students who have already completed graduation but are not enrolled in a Graduate Program, or undergraduate students who have already completed at least 80% (eighty percent) of the credits required in your Course.

  • 1 - For attendance as a listening student, at the discretion of the CPG, the consent of the professor responsible for the discipline is imperative.
  • 2 - The hearing student will not be entitled to the credits taken and may take only one course per semester among the elective courses offered by PPGEEs.
  • 3rd It will not be allowed to register as a hearing student in disciplines in the area of concentration and/or mandatory offered by PPGEEs".

Procedures and documents:

  1. 1. Consult the PPGEEs page (January – for 1st Semester subjects and July – for 2nd Semester subjects) for the registration calendar and offer of subjects for the semester.
  2. 2. Fill in and sign the registration form as a listening student available at PPGEEs-UFSCar page;
  3. 3. Contact the professor(s) responsible for the subject of interest and obtain from them the acceptance of enrollment in the form in item 2;
  4. 4. Attach proof of graduation completion or proof of completion of 80% of the credits in the graduation course;
  5. 5. Attach a copy of the Lattes curriculum from the Lattes CNPq Platform;
  6. 6. Send the application and the documentation corresponding to the Graduate Program in Special Education at the opening hours published on the PPGEEs page or send it by mail to:

Observations for Hearing Students:

  1. Applications will not be accepted without the signature of the professor responsible for the discipline;
  2. A certificate of evaluation of the discipline will not be issued;
  3. Enrollment in only one course per semester of an optional nature will be allowed.
