Special Students

Each semester, PPGEEs may accept the enrollment of special students in accordance with the current Internal Regulations of the Graduate Program in Special Education.

Special Students

Students regularly enrolled in other Graduate Programs (Master’s or Doctorate) or undergraduate students who have completed at least 80% (eighty percent) of the required credits in their course, as well as holders of a Bachelor's or Master’s degree interested in taking courses whose content contributes to the nature of their scientific work, may attend PPGEEs courses as special students. The enrollment of special students may be made in concentration area courses and/or elective courses offered by PPGEEs, upon request and submission of the following documents for each condition:

  1. Students regularly enrolled in other Graduate Programs (Master’s or Doctorate): request form and proof of enrollment in another Graduate Program;

  2. Undergraduate students: request form and proof of enrollment in an undergraduate course, accompanied by an academic transcript proving the completion of at least 80% (eighty percent) of the required credits in the course;

  3. Holders of a Bachelor's or Master’s degree: request form and diploma or certificate of completion of the undergraduate course or diploma and certificate of completion of the Master’s degree.

Enrollment as a special student in mandatory courses offered by PPGEEs will not be permitted.

The acceptance of the special student’s enrollment will depend on the approval of the professor(s) teaching the course(s) in which the student has enrolled, and the requests will be approved in a CPG-PPGEEs meeting.
