The Student Representatives are elected by the students and have a term of office of one year, and may be reappointed to the same body for another year. In elections there may be (preferably) one alternate for each duly elected Student Representative. All collegiate bodies of the University have Student Representation.

The main function of the Student Representatives is to represent the interests of the students and students that that position of student representation competes with. Being the duty of the Student Representatives to attend the meetings of the body to which they were elected.

The Graduate Council of the Program represents the closest body for the decisions of the Graduate Program in Special Education. You can search for Council members (including Student Representatives) on the Coordination page.

Another Council that may be of interest to the Graduate Program in Special Education students is the Council of the Center for Education and Human Sciences (CoC - CECH), whose members can be found on the CECH page (external link).

Other collegiate bodies of the University, such as the Board of Graduate Studies at UFSCar (ProPG) or the Board of Research (ProPq), can be found at this link. The list of members of its Commissions and Coordinations can be found on the UFSCar portal (external link).
