Participation in the Capes Internationalization Program – PrInt

PPGEEs participated until 2024 in the UFSCar Institutional Project in PrInt Capes in the proposal “Education and Human Processes for Social Transformations”.

This proposal integrates the research areas of the postgraduate programs in the humanities areas of UFSCar and programs in other areas of knowledge with which they interface. The general goal is to develop research that overcomes knowledge gaps, maximizing experiences abroad, aiming to understand and face the challenges of local and global realities and, at the same time, build a complementarity that reduces asymmetries on both sides and raises the level of knowledge through mutual contribution, resulting from the different competencies of national and international partner institutions. The proposal presents an innovative character both in the theme and in the way it is approached, seeking to consolidate the outstanding areas, as well as boost the areas with international potential. This allows us to build a research and knowledge production network within the postgraduate scope that is in line with the institution's competencies and with key issues in Brazilian society: knowledge production and scientific dissemination; new epistemologies of science in the training of scientists; equity in access to education and knowledge; policies, educational organization and inclusion; development and evaluation of educational and instructional technologies and teaching methodologies. These topics refer to the trends in ST&I policies indicated in the MCTI document, and are in line with the objectives set for education, science and social technologies. The objective is to produce and disseminate innovative solutions, as well as create indicators to develop and support public policies that guarantee inclusion, considering socioeconomic and cultural aspects and the improvement of the population's quality of life. It is worth noting that PPGEEs professors were part of the Management Committee Prof. Deisy das Graças de Souza and the Executive Committee Prof. Cristina B. F. de Lacerda. Through PrInt-Capes, Prof. Lídia Maria Marson Postalli carried out an institutional mission at the University of Porto, Polytechnic Institute of Porto and at the University of Minho (Oct/2024).
