How many vacancies are available for masters and doctoral degrees?
The number of vacancies for the Masters and Doctorates will be decided annually by the Graduates Commission, depending on the availability of advising from the professors, as well as the availability of courses offered during the period.


How does admission work?
The admission of candidates to the Master and Doctorate will depend on approval in the selection process, at the discretion of the Selection Committee appointed by the Graduates Commission. Therefore, be aware of the selection processes and their requirements for the competition.


How can I get support from a funding agency?
Additionally, a selection process for CAPES and CNPq scholarships is carried out, at any time during the academic period, depending on the scholarships made available to the program. If the graduate student wishes, he can also apply on his own and with the supervisor's consent, at any time during the course, for the FAPESP scholarship.


Can I validate courses taken in another graduate program?
At Graduates Commission discretion, graduate courses, taken as a regular student in another course of the same level, or taken separately as a special student in any Graduate course, may be recognized by the Commission, up to a maximum of 40% (forty percent) of the total credits in subjects required to complete the studies in the Course, provided that they have been taken a maximum of 36 (thirty-six) months prior to enrollment in the same.


Do you have proof of proficiency in English in the selection process?
The selection process may include tests, at the discretion of the Graduates Commission, and in this case, the nature of the tests must be explained when the selection process is announced. The proficiency test is eliminatory.
